greendougherty Blog – Yorkville, a Community on the East Side of Manhattan
Another one of my blogs deal with a community on the east side of Manhattan in New York City covering a bit before the 1950’s and after. Over the years we had two web sites but became obsolete because there was little or no financial support for the web sites and a year or so ago came to a halt. All the pictures that I was able to capture over the period of time that the web sites , message boards, guestbooks, etc. were active are still a part of other web sites. I’ll try and place links on this page to most of those pictures and show them in this special blog on greendougherty – Yorkville, a community on the east side of Manhattan
I have a few general links from the the greendougherty Blog that I set up a few months ago that I’ll show as assorted links on the bottom of this page but for now I’ll start with ho i separated the pictures into groups and where they, as least most of them, ended up for viewing…..Pinterest.
This post in on a HOLD at the moment, I just looked at my account on Pinterest and saw a message on the top such as…..
You may have saved something we don’t allow. Please review our policy.
I sent Pinterest an email to find out what may have been saved and will hold this until I get my answer from Pinterest. If and when I get an answer, I’ll respond as to what I’ll do with the pictures on Pinterest. In the mean time, I’m pissed to have a statement put on the top of my page that I have no control of.
Till I get my answer…..
Marty, the memory man.
